The first MAGNUM collectible of Mount Athos features the name Epifanis and is, of course, the pride of the monks of the Holy Cell of St. Eustathios, also known as "MYLOPOTAMOS".
The Epifanis Wine is made from the 15-year-old grapevines of Mylopotamos, in particular from the Limnio, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. It has deep red color and a bouquet (smell) of dried plums, red fruits and spices. Its taste is strong and has a generous structure with rich tannins harmoniously polymerized. It also has a balanced acidity and a long sweet aftertaste.
It is a wine with a large surface, very promising to the lovers of the kind, who want wines older than 10 years old in their cellar. If you consume it before it is decanted into a decanter, it will "release" and give you all its aromas.
