The Holy Cell of St. Efstathios, also known as “Mylopotamos” for more than 1,000 years, since the time of St. Athanasius the Athonite, is located on Mount Athos and is the place where this blessed wine is produced. “Mylopotamos Nama” is a naturally sweet wine made from Muscat of Alexandria and Merlot, intended to be used in the Holy Communion, but also as a dessert wine.
"Mylopotamos Nama" is a red table wine with excellent and delicate aromas of rose and berries. The flavor has a rich tannin structure with a pleasant aftertaste. The winemaking includes the traditional way of condensing the must.
