Saint Alexius was coming from a rich and wealthy family of Rome. He preferred virginity and lived ascetically. He died in 410 AD. The relics of Saint Alexius was donated to the Holy Monastery of Agia Lavra Kalavrita in 1398 AD by Emperor Manuel Palaiologos. Saint Alexius celebrates on March 17th.
