Saint Anastasius of Persia lived in the 7th century AD, during the time of Persian king Khosrow II. Although he was the son of a magician, he was baptized, and he became monk. After many tortures, the idolaters beheaded him. He died in 628 AD. Saint Anastasius of Persia celebrates on January 22nd.
