Saint Simon the Myrrhobletes, was the founder of the brightest architectural monastery of Mount Athos, Simonopetra. He was a wonderful ascetic, miraculous and sweet-smelling. He lived a prolonged life and he died peacefully on December 28, 1257 AD. Saint Simon the Mirovlitis celebrates on December 28th.
