Saint Dimosthenes was descended from a village in Andrianoupolis. He was a fisherman and was working on the treks of Smyrna. The Saint, because of a slander, was taken to the court where he was forced to become a Muslim. But he remained faithful to Jesus Christ. They tortured him terribly and the Saint eventually martyred in 1763. Saint Dimosthenes celebrates on April 10th.
