Saint Lavrentios was one of the most known clergyman in the Roman Church. He managed the property of the Church and cared for the poor people, the orphans and the disabled people. When the persecution against Christians was taking place in Rome, he refused to hand over the treasures of the Church. Finally, the Saint testified on 253 A.D. His memory is celebrated on August 10.
