Saint Artemius was a distinguished Byzantine politician and a sincere Christian. In 363 AD, when Artemius opposed to Julian, a pagan persecutor of the Christians, he was whipped cruelly. The Holy Relics of Artemius are located in Constantinople, in the temple of the Prophet Prodromos. Saint Artemius celebrates on October 20th.
