The Great Martyr Theodore the Stratelates was Commander-in-Chief in the city of Euchaita in ancient Galatia, during Licinius times. He testified and beheaded in 319 AD because he distributed the pieces of golden statues of the emperor to the poor. Saint Theodore the Stratelates celebrates on February 8th.
