Saint Sophia and her three daughters of Agape, Pisti and Elpida (Charity, Faith and Hope) lived in Rome during the years of Emperor Hadrian (117-138 AD). They were distinguished for their morals and piety. The three girls martyred and they were beheaded. Saint Sophia died after she buried her children. Saints Sophia, Faith, Hope and Charity celebrate on September 17th.
