Small icon (lithograph) of Saint Iphigenia, on hard MDF with matte varnish.
Dimensions: 7 x 12 cm.
Saint Iphigenia came from Pontus and was born in 53 AD. Her parents were idolaters but she became a Christian at a young age. During the great persecution of Christians from Roman Emperor Nero, Iphigenia, at the age of 15, was captured by Commander Mark and she was tortured. Iphigenia's faith was so deep and pure that managed to impress commander Mark, who asked for forgiveness. Saint Iphigenia celebrates on the same day with her teacher, Apostle Mathew, on November 16th.
