When the Apostle Paul arrived at Philippi to declare the word of Christ, Lydia listened carefully and reverently to the words of Judas and accepted the new teaching. She immediately then asked to be baptized. Lydia is the first Christian of Macedonia. Saint Lydia of Thyatira celebrate on May 20th.
