Hand painted icon of Saint Paisios the Athonite and Saint Euphemia, made in Mount Athos, on natural wood. The icon is delivered in a wooden box.
Saint Paisios the Athonite is depicted along with Saint Euphemia as
a reference to the miraculous visit of Saint Euphemia to the cell of Saint
Paisios on Mount Athos, on February 26, 1974 (old calendar). Saint Paisios,
surprised by the appearance of the Saint, asked her to pray "In the name
of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit" to verify that it is her indeed. Then, overwhelmed by
her presence, he embraced her feet and Saint Euphemia recounted her life and
all the horrible tortures she suffered. Saint Euphemia
advised Saint Paisios on some critical issues and then she disappeared.
