Gilded - gold ornamented icon of Virgin Mary Gorgoepikoos with gloss varnish on a hard MDF. The original was painted to the cell of Theofileon of Holy Skete of St Anne on Mount Athos.
One of the many names we give to Our Lady is Gorgoepikoos and her homonymous miraculous icon is located in the Holy Monastery of Dochiariou on Mount Athos since 1646.
