Lithography with the Archangel Gabriel with gloss varnish on a hard MDF. The original was painted in the Monastery of St. John the Theologian.
The name of Archangel Gabriel means "God is my strength". He is the one, who announced the message of the birth of Christ to Virgin Mary, while in the later years it is reported that he appeared to a monk on Mount Athos and carved "Axion Esti" on a marble slab in front of the icon of the Virgin Mary. Archangel Gabriel celebrates on November 8th.
