Monastic Lemon Verbena (Aloysia citriodora) is organically grown in the gardens of the Monastery of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary. It is available in doypack packaging that safely opens and closes safely multiple times.

Beneficial properties: Its leaves give a pleasant lemon smell. The tea of its leaves soothes neural pain, tones the stomach and facilitates digestion of fatty foods. It is diaphoretic, antispasmodic against diarrhea, flu, fever, and colds. Suitable for diets and obesity.

Use: Add 1 to 2 teaspoons to 1 cup of boiled water for 5-10 minutes. Drink 1-2 times per day. Avoid excessive use.

In cooking: Lemon verbena, due to its intense lemon smell, is used to flavor fish, poultry, meat and sauces. It fits perfectly with fruit salads, fruit juices, sweets and desserts.
