Saint Anastasia came from Rome, and at a young age married Popliona, a ruler and idolater. She secretly helped the prisoners by giving them money and food. When her husband was informed of her action, she tortured her horribly. She testified in 290 AD. Saint Anastasia celebrates on December 22nd.
