The parents of Saint Anne dedicated her to the service of the Temple of Jerusalem at the age of three. She met Joachim from Galilee and, after years without having children, she gave birth to the virgin Mary. At that time, Saint Anne was 70 years old and Joachim 80. Saint Anne celebrates on December 9th.
