Grooved serigraph of Saint Lazarus. The background is gold colored with a red outline. The icon can either be hanged on the wall or stand on any surface.
Lazarus was a close friend of Jesus Christ, who lived in Bethania, 3 km from Jerusalem. The miracle of Lazarus made many people believe in Jesus Christ, which irritated the archpriests and Pharisees. Lazarus died in Cyprus in 63 AD. Above his grave was built a temple; bearing the inscription written in the Hebrew "Lazarus of the Four Days, the friend of Christ".
