Hand painted icon of Crucified Jesus Christ, made in Mount Athos, on natural wood. The icon is delivered in a wooden box.
The image of Crucifixion is the representative icon of Good Friday. The impression given is that Jesus Christ did not die, but is asleep. The hagiographer chooses to put on the inscription above the head of Jesus Christ the letters “ΟΒΣΛΤΔΞΣ”, that is, "The King of the Glory" and not the initials of the “Ι.Ν.Β.Ι.”, which the wicked soldiers wrote to sneer the Lord.
