Saint Socrates the Elder, lived in the 3rd century AD, when King was Severus Alexander, the last emperor of the Severan dynasty. Socrates was a priest and helped the pious Theodotus to help many people build their faith on Jesus. He died in Ankara. Saint Socrates celebrates on October 21st.
