Hand painted icon of the Raise of Saints Simon and Magdalene made on Mount Athos, on natural wood. The icon is delivered in a wooden box.
Saint Simon, the Myrrh-scented, was the founder of the architectural-admiring monastery of Mount Athos, Simonopetra, built on top of a single huge rock, hanging from a cliff 330 metres over the sea. He miraculously proceeded to the reconstruction of the monastery. The church devoted herself in the name of the Birth of the Jesus, and the monastery named New Bethlehem. Saint Simon celebrates on December 28th.
