Saint Isidore of Pelusium was born in Egypt around 360 AD by parents who were deeply religious. He worked as a teacher and catechist of the Church of Alexandria. Later, he retired to a monastery on Mount Pelusium to study the Bible. Saint Isidore of Pelusium celebrates on 4 February.
