The precise time and place of birth of Saint Gregory Palamas are unknown to us, but we know that the first half of the 14th century AD, Saint Gregory Palamas was in the imperial court of Constantinople. Then, he retired to Mount Athos, but after the conflict with Varlaam Calabro, he settled in Thessaloniki. Later, he became bishop of Thessaloniki. Saint Gregory Palamas celebrates on November 14th.
