Jesus found Matthew sitting at the customs outside Capernaum and said to him: "Follow me". Matthew, without any delay, immediately followed him. He wrote the first Gospel of the New Testament in 64 AD. He died in Ethiopia. Saint Matthew the Apostle celebrates on November 16th.
