The name of Saint Timothy means ‘the one who honors God’, but also ‘the one who God honors’. He was student of Apostle Paul and followed him on the 2nd apostolic tour. After the death of Apostle Paul, Saint Timothy returned to Ephesus and continued his missionary activity. Saint Timothy celebrates on January 22nd.
