Saint Agatha came from Sicily and lived in the years of Emperor Decius (249-251 AD). She donated her property to charity to help those in need. Later, when eparch Cintianus insisted on marrying her, she was steadfast in her faith and endured terrible torture until finally martyred. Saint Agatha celebrates on February 5th.
