Pious Anna and her husband Joachim spent most of their life without children. But the Almighty heard the couple's prayers and demanded that they bring a child into the world, promising to dedicate the child to Him. Indeed, Anna and Joachim led their daughter Mary, to the Temple and handed her over to Priest Zacharias. The priest received Virgin Mary at the age of three and led her to the Holy of Holies. Inside the Temple, Our Lady stayed for twelve years and left when the time of the Annunciation arrived. Our Church honors the Presentation of Virgin Mary on November 21.
