Saint Euphemia was descended from Chalcedon and lived in the years of Emperor Diocletian, developing strong belief in Christianity. She was imprisoned, tortured and finally martyred. Her remains are kept in the Patriarchal Church of Saint George Fanarios of Constantinople. Saint Euphemia celebrates on September 16th.
