Saint Themistocles was descended from Myrrh of Lycia and lived in the time of Emperor Decius. He was a shepherd and saint Dioskouridis came to him in a period of persecution. He was arrested and tortured. He remained steadfast in his faith and martyred in 251 AD. Saint Themistocles celebrates on December 21st.
