Stone Arched Bridges and Aqeducts of Mount Athos
The desires of each human vary according to his interests. Personally, I have been involved for many years with photography and I have been a member of the Hellenic Photographic Society since 1976. At the same time, I had a deep desire to visit Mount Athos so that I could not only capture with my camera the monasteries, the sketes, the cells and the other monuments that can be found on the Athos peninsula but also to learn how the monks live there. At the same time, I wanted to go as a pilgrim to the Garden of Virgin Mary, the place, where the human soul communicates with God. (From the introduction of the book).
