Handmade wooden iconography of the Saint Agapetus of the Kiev Caves, made on Mount Athos, on natural wood. The icon is delivered in a wooden box.
Saint Agapetus of the Kiev Caves, a disciple of Saint Anthony of Kiev, lived during the 11th century at the Kiev Pechersk Lavra. He dedicated himself to caring for the sick with selfless love, offering free medical treatment using herbs and prayers. Among those he healed was Prince Vladimir II Monomakh, and he became widely renowned for his miracles. Despite the jealousy of an Armenian physician, Agapetus stood out for his humility and deep faith, demonstrating his sanctity even when he drank poison without harm. His memory is honored by the Orthodox Church on June 1 and his holy relics are preserved in the cave of Saint Anthony at the Lavra. Additionally, he is commemorated on September 28, a day dedicated to all the Saints of the Pechersk Monastery.
