Saint Cyprian lived in the days of Decius’ Emperor and he was a famous magician. Being influenced by the deep faith of a Christian virgin, called Iustas, who protected her from his magic, made Saint Cyprian to be baptized as a Christian. His strong faith led him to become Bishop of Carthage. Iustas, together with him, was ordained and she was renamed Justine. However, according to Deciu's decree, he was exiled to Antioch, imprisoned and eventually he got beheaded together with Justine. Saint Cyprian and Saint Justine celebrate on October 2nd.
