Saint Philaret was a bright example of a charitable man. Once, God allowed, and Philaret became very poor; having lost his fortune and his belongings and remained only with his honeycombs. However, his divine providence gave him the degree of the governor. Saint Philaret is the patron saint of Beekeeping and he celebrates on December 1st.
