Saint Silouan was born in 1866 AD, in the village of Sobok of Russia and he was a carpenter. At 1892 AD. he went on Mount Athos and was practiced for 46 whole years at the Monastery of Saint Panteleimon. He died on September 24, 1938 AD, when we celebrates his memory.
