Small, handmade, wood carved engolpion with Saint Minas. It is sculptured on boxwood at the Holy Scete of Saint Demetrios in Mount Athos.

Saint Minas came from Egypt and lived during the time of Emperor Maximianus. He joined the Roman army, and when the persecutions against the Christians began, he confronted the idolaters proclaiming that the only true God is Christ. Saint Menas celebrates on November 11th.
