Saint Dionysius came from Athens. He lived and martyred the days of Emperor Dometian (81-96 AD). Originally, he was a pagan, but after the sermon of Paul the Apostle was baptized a Christian. He is the patron saint of city of Athens. Dionysius the Areopagite celebrates on October 3rd.
