Saint Luke Archbishop of Crimea

Silver-plated icon with Saint Luke Archbishop of Crimea and Simferopol in a wooden frame. The icon is richly decorated with embossed Byzantine designs composed of a special, durable metal alloy, impregnated with pure silver 999. The special treatment with the PVD method, as well as the excellent quality silkscreen printing according to the standards of Byzantine iconography, create the final result of the icon that remains unchanged over time. The icons of this series can be hung on the wall with the hook they have.

Saint Luke was born in 1877 on the Crimean Peninsula. He was a professor of anatomy and surgery at the University of Tashkent. At times they were persecuted, imprisoned, and exiled to Siberia for his Christian faith. Despite the hardships, the Saint treated many patients. Saint Luke of Crimea celebrates on 11 June.
