Saint Margarita was born in Antioch of Pisidia, from an idolatrous father, during the years of Emperor Claudius II, in 270 AD. She was Christian and at the age of 15, she refused to renounce Christianity in order to marry Olybrius, a Governor of the Roman Army. Upon her refusal, she was cruelly tortured and she then got beheaded. Saint Margarita celebrates on July 17th.
