Saint Sergius of Rantonezh was born in pious family on 1314 in the city Rostov. After he became an adult, he choose ascetic life, living a life poor in material, but rich in spirituality. The saint built his own monastery, dedicated to the Holy Trinity. He offered readily his help to the people and died on September 25th, 1392.
