Our Lady Gorgoepikoos

Silver-plated icon with Virgin Mary Gorgoepikoos in a wooden frame. The icon is richly decorated with embossed Byzantine designs composed of a special, durable metal alloy, impregnated with pure silver 999. The special treatment with the PVD method, as well as the excellent quality silkscreen printing according to the standards of Byzantine iconography, create the final result of the icon that remains unchanged over time. One of the many names we give to Our Lady is Gorgoepikoos and her homonymous miraculous icon is located in the Holy Monastery of Dochiariou on Mount Athos since 1646.
