Saint Filoumenos came from the village Orounta in the north Cyprus. He, along with his twin brother, showed great love for Jesus Christ, from young age. Soon, Saint Philoumenos went to Jerusalem, where he served for 46 years, until he testified on 1979 A.D. His remains are kept in the church of Saint Sion. His memory is celebrated on November 29th.
