Silver-plated icon with with our Lady of Kazan in an oval shape. The theme of the Christian icon is captured with great clarity and rich detail that covers the entire surface. The material of the icon is composed of a special, durable metal alloy, impregnated with pure silver 999. The special treatment with the PVD method, as well as the excellent quality silkscreen printing according to the standards of Byzantine iconography, create the final result of the icon that remains unchanged over time. Tradition says that the icon of Virgin Mary of Kazan was a gift from the Patriarch of Constantinople Germanos II to the inhabitants of Kazan in the 13th century.
