MAKTRO
Maktro is called the red fabric that is used in the Holy Communion and protects from any fall of the Holy Communion on the floor. The orthodox priest holds the red fabric in the base of the Chalice, so the faithful can wipe their mouth after they have received the Holy Communion. In our collection we have maktra in absorbent cotton fabric, with various embroidered designs, such as the Cross, the Vine or the Christogram.
