Handmade, byzantine cross, carved on boxwood, with Saint Anthony the Great. The unique handicraft is made by the holy fathers at the Holy Skete of Saint Demetrios in Mount Athos.

Saint Anthony the Great was born in 251 AD in Egypt by wealthy and virtuous parents. Soon he decided to leave his prosperous and abundant way of living and depart for the desert. His life became an ascetic example. He passed away at the age of 105. Saint Anthony the Great celebrates on January 17th.
