Wood-carved Blessing Cross Double-sided

Excellent detailed handmade wood-carved blessing cross made of pear wood by the fathers in the Holy Cell of the Dormition of Theotokos on Mount Athos. The cross is double-sided and on one side presents the Crucifixion of the Lord in relief with elaborate details. On the back, the Virgin Mary is depicted standing with the child Jesus Christ in her arms. On the left antenna of the cross is Saint Nektarios, while on the right is Saint Ephraim of Nea Makri. At the base of the cross there are carved the words AGION OROS, as well as a carved leaf and grapevine fruit, a symbol of the Orthodox tradition. Unique Athonite handicraft made with patience and faith by the fathers in the Garden of Virgin Mary.
